From the popular South American plant it gets its name from, this tea is unique among herbal teas for it's stimulant effects, owing to the presence of both caffeine and it's relatives, theobromine & theophylline, creating a more sustainable and gentle stimulant effect compared to coffee. This fine cut mate brews with an invigorating and refreshing earthy body and a smooth mellow finish.

Brewing Suggestions (Hot): Brew using 1.5 teaspoons (2.5 grams) for 10 oz. of water at 200°F / 93°C. Steep 5 minutes or longer.
