The Moccamaster KBGV Select is our go-to home coffee brewer — the one we use in our own kitchens every morning. It’s the opposite of overly complicated appliances: no apps, no timers, no programming menus. Just a switch, a perfect brew cycle, and consistently fantastic coffee.

While many modern appliances are built to be replaced, not repaired, Moccamaster is built the old-fashioned way: individual components, metal housings, and a design meant to last a lifetime. If something ever wears out, Technivorm still stocks parts and still supports repair. It’s a refreshing approach in a world of disposable machines.

The features we love:

• Brew Quality — The KBGV brews at SCA-certified temperatures and flow rates for an even, balanced extraction. We’ve put it up against other home brewers, and nothing at this simplicity level comes close.
  
  
• Durability & Repairability — Every machine is handmade in the Netherlands, using modular components that can be replaced instead of tossing the whole brewer. This is why so many 20+ year old Moccamasters are still running.
  
  
• Glass Carafe — This comes with a glass carafe and a warming plate. Besides the power switch, the only other switch is a high/low setting for the warming plate, so you can flip it to low and avoid cooking the coffee. We find the glass easier to pour from & keep clean than the steel carafe version.
