The Story

HONDURAS MUJERES UNIDAS is produced by a network of women coffee farmers across the La Paz and Intibucá regions of Honduras. Many of these women manage small family farms, using organic methods and sustainable practices to grow high-quality coffee.

These women manage every part of coffee production—from tending the land and harvesting cherries, to processing coffee with great care and precision. Many plant timber and fruit alongside their coffee to improve biodiversity, support shade-grown practices, and create the microclimates that lead to complex, high-quality coffee.

The cooperative structure provides not only market access but a support network—women share advice, labor, and encouragement, helping one another succeed in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Their work reflects resilience, collaboration, and a deep commitment to sustainable farming.
