Dragonwell is our go-to for new tea drinkers looking to explore the world of green teas, as it's one of the most famous teas in all of China. The literal translation of this tea's name in Chinese, Longjing; it's easily identified by its leaves being shaped into long, flat blades, and has signature chestnut & vegetal flavors with a honeysuckle sweetness.
Like most Chinese teas, Dragonwell is pan fried shortly after picking (as opposed to Japanese teas, which are usually steamed). The pan frying process imparts a pleasant slightly toasty sweetness to this tea.

Brewing Suggestions: Brew using 1 teaspoon (2.5 grams) for 10 oz. of water at 175°F / 80°C. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
