Fazenda's Spiced Chai was one of the first blends we developed in our tea program. We weren't happy with off-the-shelf chai blends, and we meticulously worked to craft a flavorful, robust blend that can be had as a straight tea or stand out brewed as a concentrate to make your favorite cafe-style chai drinks.
Caffeinated Black Tea Blend.
Brewing Suggestions (Regular Tea): Brew using 2 teaspoons (4 grams) for 10 oz. of water just off boil (212°F / 100°C). Steep for 5 minutes.
Brewing Suggestions (Chai Concentrate): Steep 85 grams (three quarters of a 4 oz. retail bag) in 64 oz. (half gallon) of water just off boil (212°F / 100°C) for 5 minutes. Add 3/4 cup sugar or equivalent sweetener. To use concentrate, mix with equal parts milk or milk substitute and serve hot or cold.
Ingredients: Indian Black Tea, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Natural Flavors.
