Reserva del Patrón is drawn from a selection of high-quality coffee farms in the southern Colombian department of Nariño. Today, Nariño is recognized as producing some of the finest coffees in the world. Overcoming a difficult past as a major producer of the illicit coca leaf, Nariño has earned a well-deserved reputation for producing distinctively complex, rich, and sweet coffees, providing new economic opportunities for the region’s thousands of smallholding farmers. Reserva del Patrón, or “Proprietor’s Reserve,” is a selection of extra-large Supremo-sized beans from high-altitude Bourbon and Caturra varietals.
